emissions control label

Where is the emissions control label on a Cummins ISC 350 circa 1999. This label must be provided to register coaches in California.

RE: ignore automaker's suggested towing speed

Thanks Charlevoix. I usually cruise at 55 mph with double benefits: my navigator enjoys the ride more and I get almost 10 mpg. However, but I loathe to waste the momentum gained downhill so let the speed rise to 75 mph guessing (without any training or knowledge except what you've shared) that the stress on the drive train will be minimal.

ignore automaker's suggested towing speed

If my car can run at speeds of 80 mph, why does the owner's manual suggest limiting towing speed in neutral to 65 mph? My suspicion is that the suggestion came from lawyers, not automotive engineers. What say you?

RE: Ca emission control starting 2024

My reading of the regulations is that there is one standard for all engines to meet. I personally didn't see the language you speak of; do you have a section and subsection of that rule you can refer me to? Thank you.

RE: Ca emission control starting 2024

California regulations have no exemptions or lower standards for older rigs.

Ca emission control starting 2024

California requires a smog test for diesel RV registration starting 2024. I called my local Cummins dealer and he had no suggestions on how to bring an old design into compliance. Have you heard of any?

? condition of highways from Montana thru Canada to Alaska?

I don't fancy driving on the highways that have joints every 20 to 30 feet resulting in a constant "thumpda-thumpda-thumpda" butt jarring trip for hour after hour. Is that what we'll find on an RV FAntasy tour to Alaska departing from Montana?

RE: CARB smog testing motorhomes Every 4months by 2024

Toedtoes, question: if a 2000 diesel RV doesn't pass emission test doesn't the rule require the motor to be in compliance to be registered in 2024?
